In line with our Mission Statement we work hard to create an ethos which will enable the girls and boys entrusted to our care to develop in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect. We endeavour to promote the dignity and uniqueness of each person. We encourage students to become involved in the life of the school and their local community.
The relationship between teachers and pupils is an aspect of life at Presentation College of which we are very proud. We work hard at building this relationship - the time and effort devoted by so many teachers to so many different kinds of extra-curricular activities is witness to this.
Teachers work side by side with pupils in such activities as the School Musical, the Orchestra, the Choir, Public Speaking and Debating, the Lions Club Youth of the Year Awards, the Rotary Club Leadership Awards, the Young Scientist exhibition, Irish Debates and Competitions, Cookery Competitions, Communication Studies, Computer Studies, Work Experience Programmes, Mock Interviews, Football, Hurling, Soccer, Rugby, Table Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Camogie, Athletics, Lunchtime Activities, Environmental Groups, Table Quizzes, School Outings, Quizzes, Educational Visits, School Tours and many more. Teachers, parents and students by their involvement in such activities help to create a co-operative atmosphere and a pleasant learning environment where all members of the school community can grow and develop.
