Well done to the Transition Year students who recently attended the Pilgrimage to Knock as part of the Kildare/Leighlin Youth Group. The students are currently taking part in the Pope John Paul II Awards and are volunteering in their local parish and community. They are great ambassadors and role models for their peers and everybody is very proud of their achievements. Special mention to Aoife Whelan, who addressed over 1,000 young people on the day and spoke  about her experiences of the Pope John Paul II Awards and how much volunteering can mean in a parish and community.
