On Tuesday, 29th November, Presentation College Senior Rugby team progressed from the third round of the Development Shield championship by beating Creagh College, Gorey. A fiercely competitive game, Presentation College had to work hard to get over the line for their first try score. They found their form in the second half creating enough of a gap in the scoreline to relax a bit approaching the final whistle. Kelan Gaffney was on hand to convert four of the six tries scored by himself, Josh Moore, Alexander Holland Walsh, Pauric O'Connor and two from Tommy Dunne. The final score was 38-22. This qualified the school into the semi-finals of the division championship to be played against Lucan Community College.
In the semi-final the Senior Rugby team extended their winning streak and are now Leinster Finalists!
On Tuesday 29th November they played a nail biting match against Lucan Community College in Naas R.F.C.  It took until the second half for the Presentation boys to get their first try from Josh Moore, and from here the momentum picked up and Tommy Dunne was quick to follow with another. Kelan Gaffney was in flying form sending the ball over the bar from every angle, converting both tries and also kicking two skilful penalties.
The final score ended 20-5 and Presentation College now go on to play their Leinster final in this Development Shield in Donnybrook later in the month.
