Computer Room

The school has state of the art facilities for information technology with a brand new Computer Room and internet and network access throughout the school. Students are encouraged to make maximum use of Information Technology in a wide range of subject areas and especially in Transition Year and the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme. The school is a site for the ECDL – the European Computer Driving Licence – which establishes standards for everyone who uses a computer in either a professional or personal capacity.  The Computer Club is open at lunchtime Monday to Thursday for all students interested.

Sports Hall & Gym

The school has just seen the completion of the massive and very modern indoor sports facilities. Students have access to a full-size Sports Hall for all of their P.E. classes and also to the weights and aerobic machines in the Fitness Suite. Such are the sports facilities available to our students that several outside bodies currently hire them.

Competitive Sports

Students have also been very successful on the sporting front. A broad range of sports are offered to students, boys and girls, including Athletics, Basketball, Gaelic Football, Hurling and Soccer.
